light pt. 2

apologies for reiteration but when 5:00 pm rolls around in my house, i sort of get distracted with the window and the light thereof. it sort of just shines through and balls up in luminous orbs wherever it feels like. photos just for fun/pleasure:

this one’s neat… that’s the window’s shadow/reflection?? on the wall opposite of it.

oh and here’s the neat one (besides the other neat one…….) this is light reflected off of the floor by the door onto the back wall. just one big orb! weird. no editing either.

apart from my current fixation on all things light… i’ve been busy. just life, normal kind of busy. not forgetting to stop and be awed by pretty things though. try it.

took a few other piddling photos today to kind of mess around with different editing. sort of a desaturated, noisy kind of editing. didn’t achieve what a wanted but ah well! i will eventually.

light.

light makes pictures possible. so i’m thankful for light and i have lots of fun with it. 

especially soft light. preferably from the actual sun and coming through a window. woke up this morning, walked into the living room, and saw marcy sleeping—- on her back with her legs in the air. ha! which is not uncommon for her… i moved her in these photos though. 

all that to say, i like pretty light.

today is a great day because 1) it’s beautiful outside and 2) it’s friday and also the beginning of spring break and 3) i will be spending my friday at a worship night. 

and on top of all of that greatness, crawfish will soon be here. saw a commercial of them last night. tis the season! 

now, on a note suitable to the proper substance of this blog… here’s my fav photo lately (yes fav, not favorite. fav.): 

so how ‘bout the looks of them? pretty and fun couple. they’re getting married in may and i will also be a part of that.
